Momentum for Good

Gather with Orange County’s philanthropic, business, and community leaders for an afternoon of connection and celebration. The program will feature a keynote address by Matt Parlow, President of Chapman University with opening remarks from the esteemed Dr. Jerry Hunter. We will honor significant milestones in OC giving and enjoy a performance by the joyful voices of the Arts & Learning Conservatory Choir.

Together, we will commemorate the incredible progress we’ve achieved and explore the exciting opportunities that lie ahead.

Keynote Speaker

Matt Parlow 

President, Chapman University

Matt Parlow assumed his role as the 14th president of Chapman University in 2025, after serving and advancing Chapman for more than a dozen years as a law professor, dean, and executive vice president/chief advancement officer. He is passionate about building bridges with community partners to create opportunities for students and will prioritize the student experience as he leads a comprehensive, nationally ranked university in the heart of beautiful Orange County, California.

Guest Speaker

Dr. Jerry Hunter

Retired Chancellor
North Orange County Community College District

Dr.  Hunter was born in Birmingham, Alabama and spent his early years in the segregated South. He earned his AA from Santa Ana College, BA in Political Science from UC Riverside, MA in Urban Studies from Occidental College, and EdD in Higher Education from USC. In 2008, he retired as Chancellor of the North Orange County Community College District after thirty-seven years in education. He retired in 2015 as the Distinguished Lecturer in the College of Education at California State University Fullerton. A Vietnam veteran, Dr. Hunter and his wife of 54 years, Adleane, reside in Fullerton, CA.
